PREAMBLE
The Association is known as the
JORDAN EDUCATION ASSOCIATION (JEA)
and has been established to:
Section 1
Encourage educators to become active members in the UNITED TEACHING PROFESSION.
Section 2
Represent its members in their relationship with the Jordan District in:

Improvement of instructional opportunities for all by informing the public about educational issues.
Section 3
Work with the members and the public for:

Section 4
Develop and promote the professional interests and concerns of its members.
Section 5
Promote professional attitudes and ethical conduct among its members.
Section 6
Encourage its members to exercise their rights and privileges as citizens and to provide leadership in political and civic affairs.
Section 7
Secure and hold funds for the attainment of Association purposes and the general welfare of its members.
The GOVERNING BODIES of JEA are the Executive Officers, Executive Board and the Legislative Council.
