How much money do teachers get for the Teacher Legislative Allocation?
The legislative allocation for 2008-09 is broken into two pieces:
Elementary teachers:
Steps 1 - 3 on the salary schedule:
$360 full-time
$180 half-time
Steps 4 - 15 on the salary schedule:
$285 full-time
$142.50 half-time
Secondary teachers:
Steps 1 - 3 on the salary schedule:
$310 full-time
$155 half-time
Steps 4 -15 on the salary schedule:
$235 full-time
$117.50 part-time
Note: These amounts are preliminary estimates. The final amounts are based on the October FTE (full-time equivalent) count. This is in accordance with the state law that allocates this money.
